Dr. Mallory Kahler graduated in 2010 from The University of Findlay with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She went on to earn a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 from The Ohio State University as well as a master’s degree in science with a dairy emphasis.
Background
Dr. Kahler grew up in Grass Lake, Michigan where she lived on a small beef and crop farm. She spent many years in 4-H showing pigs and cattle at the county fair. Following graduation she worked in central Pennsylvania at a mixed animal veterinary clinic focusing on dairy herd health, medicine and surgery as well as small animal practice. Her primary interests are small animal surgery and large animal practice, but truly loves mixed animal practice with the variety and challenges each day brings. Her hobbies include being outdoors camping, hiking, and gardening as well as spending time with friends and family, including her 6 nieces and nephews. She has an 80lb Catahoula named Tulsa whose skills include snuggling and playing fetch.
