Dr. Bailey DeGroat, DVM

Dr. Bailey DeGroat, DVM, joined NCVS in June 2025 as an associate veterinarian. Raised on her family's cow-calf and row-crop operation in Germantown, Ohio, she developed an early passion for the beef industry and animal health.
She holds an Associate of Science degree from Illinois Central College (2019), a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Iowa State University (2021), and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025 from The Ohio State University.
During her clinical year, Dr. DeGroat gained international experience in Alberta, Canada, and across Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska, focusing on large animal reproduction, surgery, and medicine.
Her professional interests include small and large animal surgery, internal medicine, and herd health. She lives in the Bucyrus area with her two Shetland sheepdogs, Hudson and Winston, and operates The Turquoise Vet.
