He has a special interest in production medicine, having participated in the 2010 Summer Dairy Institute at Cornell University and the 2013 Ohio Beef Feedlot School through OSU Extension. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest technology and innovations. He enjoys work on all species and the variety his days hold. Dr. Hartschuh grew up in northwest Crawford County on his family's dairy and grain farm. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son and on the farm. They raise Red Angus and Holstein cattle. He has a Golden Retriever and three cats.
