Amy has been with Whetstone Animal Hospital since January 2008 and is very excited to have joined our team! She has a Certified Veterinary Assisting Certificate from Ashworth College. She loves working with animals big and small and takes a special interest in X-Rays.

Jana graduated from Kenton High School in 2017 and then graduated from The Vet Tech Institute at Bradford in Columbus, Ohio with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in 2019. 

Autumn joined our team in 2021 as a part time receptionist.  She graduated from Carey High School in 2001 and enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids fishing, hiking and anything outdoors.  Autumn raises Nigerian Dwarf goats and also has 6 dogs and 5 cats. 

Michaela joined the team in 2022 as a full-time receptionist. She graduated New Riegel High School in 2017 and was a member of the FFA and livestock 4-H group there. She completed a Bachelor of Animal Science at the University of Findlay in 2020 with an interest in the livestock industry. She enjoys spending time with her own dog, Koda, and helping with her family’s small beef cattle operation.

Candia grew up in Tiffin and currently resides in Bucyrus with her husband. She has four grown children and two grandchildren. Candia is excited to share her love for animals and people at the front desk. Her favorite hobbies are flowers and hanging out with family.

Hailie joined the team in 2022 as a full-time receptionist.  Hailie graduated from Bucyrus High School in 2021 and will be attending Marion Technical College starting in 2023 for radiologic technology.  She spends her time away from the clinic with her boyfriend, friends, and 2 cats.

Brittany has worked in the Veterinary field for 8 years and became a Registered Technician in 2017.  She has always been around animals whether it is cattle, dogs, or cats.  She loves to work with both large and small animals.  

Glenna Phillips joined us in July of 2022 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has 3 dogs and 1 cat.

My name is Cheylsie Kidwell. I've been working with animals since I was 14. I'm the biggest animal lover, and I'm a strong advocate in high volume spay and neuter. I live in quite the 'zoo' with dogs, cats, snakes, Russian tortoises, Nigerian dwarf goats, geese, chickens, and ducks. I graduated from high school in 2022 and then spent a semester at the University of Findlay studying Pre-Veterinary medicine. Currently, I am enrolled in a veterinary technician program through Penn Foster. I have been in this program for almost a year and plan to be a full time technician when I finish school in 3 years. I previously worked at the Wyandot County Humane Society and HOPE Spay & Neuter Clinic for 5 years. More recently, I joined the NCVS family in mid December. I'm excited to be a part of this team and can't wait to explore new areas of small and large animal medicine.

Brittney is a Veterinary Assistant who has been with us since September 2023.  She enjoys working with small and large animals.  Brittney has been married to her husband since October 2022 and has three daughters.  She is an animal lover with her own little Zoo at home.

Misty Douglas is a Veterinary Assistant that joined the team in 2023.  Misty takes great interest in surgery and working with owners to ensure their pets have the best life possible.  Misty is a Wynford graduate, with 2 daughters and a passion for animals.
